Lovable, Base44, Replit and bolt.new Meta ad creatives side by side

We read every ad Lovable, Base44, Replit and bolt.new ran on Meta from July to September 2026, more than 1,500 creatives, and sorted them by what they promise and how they hook.

What this means if you advertise in this category

  • What everyone says: you can build it fast. 40% of the creatives sell mainly on speed, and the most common hook (37%) is a bold claim: a big promise stated as plain fact, like Base44's "Anyone can build a website now."

  • What almost nobody says: what it costs, and what real users got out of it. Only 4% of the creatives argue mainly on price.

  • A test worth running: sell on results, not speed: what someone built and what it got them. That is the main argument in 6% of the creatives, mostly Replit's (23% against 2% or less for the others).

Four apps chase one buyer: someone with an app idea and no developer

All four promise to turn a plain description into a working app, so their creatives compete for the same person. This is how much each one ran.

They all sell speed, in almost the same words

With the same buyer in mind, they make the same pitch, and the copy shows it.

  • Speed is the top selling point for Base44 (45%), Replit (38%) and bolt.new (71%).

  • The words barely change. Lovable: "you just describe what you want." Base44: "Describe the site you want and build it in minutes." bolt.new: "If you can describe it, you can build it."

They differ in the first seconds: three lead with a bold claim, Lovable with the problem

The promise is the same, so the hook does the work, and Base44 adds a different feeling.

  • Base44, Replit and bolt.new most often hook with a bold claim (40%, 46% and 55% of their creatives): a promise stated as plain fact, like Replit's "A chatbot gives you a plan. Replit gives you the app." Lovable does it in 28%.

  • Lovable most often hooks with a pain point (37%), against 16% for Base44 and 17% for Replit. One opens on "To build an app used to cost $10K+" and answers "Now you can do it yourself."

  • Base44 sells aspiration more than practicality (54% of its creatives). It talks to the person who has had the idea for a while: "The app you keep saying someone should build? You're someone."

The bigger gap is how they run creatives: Lovable replaces them fastest

Same message, very different pace and range.

  • On 28 September, 95% of Lovable's running creatives had started in the previous 4 weeks. For Base44 it was 25%.

  • Lovable also bets harder on one idea. An idea here is a group of creatives that make the same pitch in the same style, even when the visuals differ. Lovable's biggest idea holds 40% of its creatives; Base44's and Replit's hold 24% and 21%.

All of this is what Meta shows publicly, with no spend or results

So it describes what these apps run, not what works.

  • Every ad these four apps ran on Meta from 1 July to 28 September 2026.

  • A country counts when an ad reached it, which is not the same as being targeted at it.
