We read every creative that eight cycle tracking apps ran on Meta from 13 September to 12 October 2026, more than 1,200 of them, and sorted them by promise and hook.
What this means if you advertise in this category
What everyone says: we will explain how you feel. Relief is the main feeling in 32% of the creatives: know your cycle, and your energy, mood and days get easier. Most open on a question (34%) or a named symptom (28%).
What almost nobody says: what the app costs. Only 4% argue mainly on price or value; 28X is the outlier at 27% of its own.
A test worth running: show what your app does that other cycle trackers don't. Only 6% compare themselves with other apps; Clue and Stardust are the outliers at 22% and 17% of their own: "Most cycle trackers log your period. Stardust reads the room."
Eight apps chase one person: someone trying to make sense of her cycle
All eight sell tracking for periods, fertility or hormones.

Relief is a day planned around your cycle
Four apps lean on relief far more than the rest: understand your phases, then plan your energy and mood around them.
Lively, 60% of its creatives: "Discover how understanding your cycle can transform your energy, mood, and productivity."
Harmony, 65%: "Thousands of women are using this app to plan each day with confidence."
Oly, 75%, and Flo, 49%, open on the symptom first. Flo: "My brain inventing a different excuse for every sign that could be PCOS."

The biggest library sells medical trust instead
Natural Cycles runs 40% of all the creatives here and rarely opens on a symptom. Three smaller apps argue against the alternatives.

Natural Cycles makes trust the main feeling in 36% of its creatives, against 21% for the category, and opens on a pain point in only 8%, against 28%: "Take our quiz to see if Natural Cycles° Birth Control is right for you."
Clue and Stardust compare themselves with other apps, and 28X argues on price: "Not free-for-seven-days-then-£9.99."
All of this is what Meta shows publicly, with no spend or results
It shows what these apps run, not what works.
Every creative running from 13 September to 12 October 2026 that reached any country, 28 in all.
A country counts when a creative reached it, which is not the same as being targeted at it.
